Law Clerk

Alex grew up in Rock Island, Illinois and graduated from Rock Island High School in 2004. He then went to Illinois State University and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in history and one in philosophy. Before coming to Bergkamp, Hemphill, Ogle and McClure, Alex worked as a title researcher at Service Abstract for over seven years.

Currently, Alex is attending law school at Indiana University School of Law – Indianapolis, where he does moot court and is on the Indiana Health Law Review. He plans on becoming a practicing attorney in either Iowa or Indiana.

Alex enjoys hiking, photography, recreational reading, and spending time with his long distance girlfriend, Megan Miller, who is currently pursuing her master’s degree in social work at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
