Dallas County is often described as the “fastest growing county in
Iowa”, and that description will undoubtedly
remain accurate into the foreseeable
future.
With a population currently in excess of 40,000 and growing
daily, Dallas County will continue to
spearhead Iowa’s growth. Recent development
in Dallas County includes Jordan Creek Town
Center located in the southeast portion of
the county, approximately 15 miles from
Adel.
Adel is the county seat for Dallas County,
and the centerpiece of county government is
the beautiful Dallas County Courthouse,
built in 1902 for a total cost of $109,000.
The unique structure is an example of French
Chateau architecture and was modeled after a
Middle Ages French castle.
The County’s offices are all currently
located within four blocks of the law firm’s
offices.
